ADA seating and parking is available at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, Cortez CO

The Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo (PRCA sanctioned) will celebrate its 83st annual celebration from 6/5/13 through 6/08/13 at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, Cortez CO. The UMR will hold it's annual Chuckwagon BBQ on the 5th of June to kick off Rodeo week. The BBQ will be held at the Cortez Park. Limited tickets are available on website. The PRCA rodeo begins on 6/6 - 6/8 at 7:00 p.m. every evening at the Fairgrounds. The Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" will be held at the Fairgrounds on Thursday evening starting at 5:00 p.m. In addition, a parade is held on Saturday p.m. in downtown Cortez. Kids programs are held at the Cortez Library the week prior to the rodeo and each night's performance includes kids mutton bustin and a stick horse race. Participation Requirements (if any)

All rodeo participants must pre-register at the PRCA website. The kids programs at the library are free and no registration is required. Mutton Bustin signup is held the weekend prior to the rodeo at IFA, Cortez. No registration is required for the stick horse race.

Chuckwagon BBQ has a limited number of tickets available and cost is $15.00 per person. Price for the Rodeo varies by dates and seating. Thursday evening is "family night" with open seating and discounted prices. Friday and Saturday evening's performance has reserved seating each evening.
