What You Can Do

The San Juan Mountain Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society puts on an annual antique truck and tractor show every September at the Riverside Park on S. Light Plant Rd in Aztec, NM . It is open to the public from Noon Friday through Saturday Sunset and load out of trucks on Sunday. This show is to honor and show off the history and heritage of trcuks and the trucking industry in America. Vehicle entries range from small pickups to 18 wheelers and even military vehicles. The age of these are as old as the early 1900's up to today's. Throughout the day, there are games for all ages, consessions, crafts and live music. Door prizes are given out to entries over the course of the weekend with major prizes raffled off as well. Each year there are over 150 vehicles entered with the event growing more and more. Looking at the vehicles is a family affair with trucks coming from as far away as Arkansas and California.
