This annual festival showcases the many cultural and archaeological gems in the area. There is no better place to celebrate archaeology than in Mesa Verde Country, the archaeological center of America. Archaeology ties all of us to the heritage we proudly share with the ancestral Pueblo People from the past and the American Indians living here today. The past and present cultures of the area are woven in a rich fabric of our landscape, arts, and traditions. The festival includes a Juried Indian Art Market, special tours to archaeological sites, museum exhibits, a Navajo Rug seminar and live auction, and dance performances by American Indians including Pueblos, Utes, and Navajos.
