Whether you’re passing though Questa on your way to the Wild Rivers Recreation Area, the Columbine Hondo Wilderness Study Area or the Valle Vidal, Jacque’s Front Porch Café and Ice Cream Shoppe provides an easy and delicious detour on your way!

The Front Porch Café and Ice Cream Shoppe, owned by Jacque Hoker, is in her own words, “the alternative restaurant of Questa.” The café is a nice surprise for visitors on their way through town and for locals looking to enjoy a fresh healthy meal out. "We try to make everything as fresh as possible!” says Jacque, who sources her organic breads from a local bakery in Jaroso Colorado, just up the road. She offers a menu of home-cooked specials ranging from lasagna to roast beef and mashed potatoes and standard menu items include fresh salads, homemade soups, deli sandwiches and hand-pressed burgers. When asked what some of customer favorites are, Jacque replies, “Breakfast burritos, green chile stew chicken salad and Rueben sandwiches and the homemade pies and brownies. We are always having to bake more brownies!” The café also offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, ice cream flavors, sundaes, banana splits, floats and homemade desserts. Even the gluten-free customer can find something at the Front Porch Café, with its line of gluten-free sandwiches.

Come into Jacque's Front Porch Café and for a delicious, home-cooked meal!
