Gallup Summer Nightly Indian Dances takes place Monday through Friday all Summer long from Memorial day through Labor Day, They take place each night from 7 - 8 pm, in the McKinley Courthouse Plaza - 200 West Hill Street, in downtown Gallup. These provide visitors with an opportunity to see authentic traditional dances from a variety of area tribes, with traditional drum, rattle and flute instruments, along with explanations regarding the cultural traditions that surround these dances. It is a great opportunity to directly experience Native American culture, music and dance, and visit vender booths with authentic Native arts and crafts, in beautiful, scenic, historic down town Gallup. The event is free to the public.
