Colorado Gators Reptile Park features over 300 alligators, reptile rescue, working fish farm, and tropical greenhouses. Established in 1977 as a tilapia fish farm using geothermal water from an 87 degree well. Our rescued reptiles include large pythons, monitor lizards, turtles, tortoises, rattlesnakes, crocodiles and many other animals.
Activities at this Site
Everyone taking the tour has the opportunity to meet, pet, hold, and take pictures with a little alligator. Gator chow is available for visitors wishing to feed the gators. Educational shows daily during the summer. Alligator wrestling classes and reptile handling classes available. Great birding opportunities. Fishing and boating on 2 mile creek. Annual Festivites include Eggfest and Gatorfest (check our website for dates and other events.)
Eco-Friendly Notes
Uses solar and geothermal resources to grow fish, tropical plants, and food crops. Uses recycled fish waste to fertilize plants.
