Since the 1920's the Ouray Hot Springs Pool has been a popular destination for recreation and soaking. With three separate sections, and three different temperatures, the Hot Springs Pool has something for everyone. The hottest section is maintained between 102 and 106 degrees, perfect for soaking weary bodies. There is a shallow warm section which is kept at 95 to 98 degrees. The deep section and lap lanes are typically in the upper 70's. This is a flow through pool, water is refreshed continually with fresh geothermal spring water from deep inside the earth. Unlike many natural hot springs the water flowing into the Ouray Hot Springs is low in sulfur and free of odor. Located at 1220 Main Street, near the park, the hot springs swimming pool is easily accessible from downtown Ouray and from most local motels and Bed and Breakfasts. Daily admission costs $10, with reduced rates for senior citizens and children. Group rates and season passes are available.
