Taos-based photographer and writer Jim O'Donnell works from his home studio. His work can be found online at www.aroundtheworldineightyyears.com where his work will soon be available for purchase.
Jim is a 5th-generation Coloradoan who has lived in the area his entire life...when he's not travelling, that is.
Jim is part of the artistic tradition of our region, making a living through his evocative photograpahy and writing. Jim is also the owner of Interface Permaculture, a small sustainable development consulting firm.
Author of NOTES FOR THE AURORA SOCIETY, Jim has worked to enhance and preserve the character of his community and region through environmental activism (sheparding a bill through Congress to permanently protect the Valle Vidal, protection of key watersheds) and community development (tree planting in public spaces, community gardens...).
