The second oldest art museum in the state, the Harwood Museum of Art was founded to exhibit art with connections to Taos, NM. The permanent collection features galleries devoted to Taos Society of Artists, Taos Moderns, Hispanic Traditional Arts historic and contemporary, the Agnes Martin Gallery, the Foster Gallery for Prints Drawings and Photographs, the Peter & Madeleine Martin Foundation Gallery, and the Mandelman-Ribak Gallery. We have over 12 changing exhibitions annually, in addition to lectures, films, and music programs in the Arthur Bell Auditorium, as well as a progressive childrens educational program and studio art classes for adults.
