Early Iron Festival

In 1970, a group of hot rod enthusiasts got together and founded the Early Iron Club. to promote the interests of street rodding and to show off their classy cars in a fun, safe, family-friendly environment.

For 31 years, the San Luis Valley Early Iron Festival has brought people from all over the country into Alamosa's Cole Park. Growing from just a handfull of cars to over 500 in 2010! The Club's commitment to their community shines in the event that happens every Labor Day Weekend.

Cole Park opens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning with the Show n' Shine following at 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is also a Ladies Tea from 1:30 to 3 p.m. There is a "Slow Cruise" to finish out the day through downtown Alamosa.

This is an event you don't want to miss!
